The Partnership of Agri-Trade has been in existence since 1984, and is a joint venture of the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce and Westerner Park. Agri-Trade Equipment Expo is held annually in Red Deer, and is considered to be one of the best Farm Equipment Shows to do business in North America. It is one of the shows in Canada that is supported by the major equipment retailers as a "National Stand".

Agri-Trade Equipment Expo attracts over 30,000 qualified Agriculture Buyers and over 475 equipment manufacturers and Agricultural Services each year. It is estimated that the show generates an annual revenue of $300,000,000.00 in equipment sales and tourism spending. The unique timing of Agri-Trade makes it the first show after harvest and the first show that kicks off a new planning season for producers, making it one of the most successful shows in Canada.
