The Sydney Royal Easter Show is one of Australia's oldest and most beloved annual events, first held in 1823. It is a celebration of Australian culture, from rural traditions to modern day lifestyles, providing unique experiences for everyone.
The Show attracts over 850,000 attendees each year, and the revenue generated by it allows the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) to invest in agricultural programs, competitions, education, youth and rural NSW. With almost $7 million in investments, these activities are designed to promote agricultural excellence and keep our rural communities strong.
Every Easter, the country and city join together at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, for fourteen days of agricultural competitions, animal experiences, live entertainment, carnival fun, shopping and much more.
