HEMUS is a biennial specialized International Defence Equipment Exhibition, established in 1995 and held in the last week of May at the traditional International Fair Plovdiv venue. Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Exhibition provides an opportunity for manufacturers and business people to showcase armaments and combat equipment along with the whole spectrum of defence assets.
At HEMUS, exhibitors have the chance to establish joint-venture enterprises, maintenance and repair activities, and joint innovative Research & Development projects in the area of defence and security. With the aim of giving an impetus to the development of the Defence Industry, the Exhibition provides an ideal platform to discover the latest innovations in the field.
