We are pleased to invite you to attend the International Symposium on Tropical and Subtropical Horticulture in Mediterranean Climate (TROPMED) organized by the Department of Agricultural, Food and Forest Sciences of the University of Palermo (SAAF) jointly with the Italian Society for Horticultural Science (SOI) under the auspices of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS).
The aim of this Symposium is to discuss the latest advances in all disciplines related to tropical and subtropical crops cultivated in the Mediterranean area. It provides a unique opportunity to explore the latest developments in horticultural sciences, while taking in the sights and sounds of one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Europe.
The conference will be held in Palermo, Italy, during 9-12 October. Palermo is a city of great historical and cultural significance, with a rich heritage that dates back to the Phoenician era. It is an ideal destination for those looking to learn about the history and culture of the Mediterranean region, as well as to make valuable connections with experts in the field of horticulture.
