SteelFab 2012, powered by recovering economies, presents a unique opportunity for exhibitors in the steel fabrication industry. With the global financial meltdown impacting the construction sector, the steel fabrication industry experienced a shift in buying patterns. While the demand from the construction sector declined, orders from the infrastructure industry increased.

Over the years, SteelFab has consistently set new benchmarks, attracting a growing number of exhibitors. From 48 exhibitors in the first edition, the event now boasts 231 direct participants representing over 600 brands from around the world. Even during the global recession, SteelFab retained a significant number of exhibitors, showcasing over 500 brands in 2010 and over 600 brands in 2011.

SteelFab 2012 will focus on material handling in steel fabrication, reflecting the industry's gradual shift towards automation. The event will feature a wide range of equipment, including overhead cranes, conveyor systems, robots, and more. Additionally, there will be a special focus area for CNC machine tools and metal-cutting machinery, catering to the growing demand in the region. Furthermore, SteelFab 2012 will continue to dedicate a special area to machinery and tools used in pipe and tube fabrication, in response to the increasing demand triggered by infrastructure, oil & gas, and industrial projects.
